With 2014 upon us I thought of giving a bit of a twist to the ‘What I am into this week’ posts. Remember that I always recommended some links? From now on, on Fridays – since it is such a happy day of the week -, I thought of celebrating it with collecting some great reads and cool pictures. This is my way of shouting TGIF (Thank God It’s Friday) and wishing you a beautiful weekend. Also keep an eye on the blog next Monday since I will be sharing ‘What I am into this month’. And the first story about our road trip to Sydney is on its way as well.
Happy weekend everyone! And the TGIF links as promised:
A great blog post with a good bunch of links on goal setting from Mrs BC. We are still in time, right?
This week finally I saw The Hobbit and on the same day I found this video, which gave me a ride to Middle Earth.
Lonely Planet names Brisbane Australia’s coolest city. Have a look here why.
Do you remember of the „Thank you, Mom” advert of Procter & Gamble made for the London Olympics in 2012? Well, here comes the second part, which is as much beautiful and touching (prepare tissues before you watch it), it was made for the upcoming winter Olympics starting this February.
Since we are right in the middle of the exam period … here students sum up their theses in one sentence and the results can be pretty funny.
For bookworms this post is a must-read with some of the most beautiful public libraries of the world.
And finally we have the winners of the People’s Choice Award. Do you agree with the results? I just wished that Hook and Emma (from Once upon a time) had won ‘Favorite On-Screen Chemistry’, they have such a spark between them!
P.S. : Also you check out my bucket list for Australia here and let me know about your travel plans for this year! xox
