I have been planning and putting notes down for this post ever since I had known that we were moving to Australia. And finally with the New Year upon us I have had another push to finish it. Although writing bucket lists is a trendy and fun thing to do, I had another reason for this one. When you start a new chapter of your life on a new land, far away from most of your family and friends, you realize how much well defined goals can help you to stay on track and to concentrate on all the good things that are ahead of you. Travelling and discovering new places has always played a special role in my life – for a long time it was the long awaited holidays with my family, followed by student backpacking trips, then an activity that I started doing as part of my job. Today travelling is a bit both, fun and work combined in a unique way, and for every minute of it I am so grateful.
The below list is a reminder to dream widely, to work hard, to plan ahead and to stay curious everyday! I am not sure for how long will it take to accomplish all of this list, especially that I am sure that I will keep on adding things to it, but I would be super happy and content if I could make just 8 of them happen this year. Whenever I reach a goal, or shall I call it a dream, I will cross it out and write about the experience on the blog, which means that this list will eventually become pink with all the links. I have also listed things which were on my list before moving here and which I have already done since we arrived. As well as few things, which are linked directly more to living in Australia, which for me falls under the label of travelling. Also you might notice that sometimes I am shooting for the stars, but you can never know, one day you might just reach them J So here comes …
